Tab Groups Manager

A browser extension that saves your tab groups as named sessions you can reopen later, and keeps the number of open groups under control.

Sessions

• Save the window's tab groups as a named session, from the toolbar button or with Alt+Shift+S.
• Open a session in the current window, or replace the window's tabs with it. Replacing first saves your current tabs to the Autosave, so a wrong click can be undone.
• Open just one group from a session. Rename, pin and delete sessions, with Undo after a delete.
• An Autosave keeps a copy of your window about once a day.

Tidy groups

• Limit how many groups stay open: opening one more collapses the one you opened least recently. Choose groups that always stay open.
• Keep groups clean: a tab opened from a link in a grouped tab opens next to the groups instead of inside one.

Your data

Sessions and settings are stored in your browser. Nothing is sent anywhere unless you turn on the optional sync, which uses a private gist in your own GitHub account. Read the privacy policy.
